We always share things to do in Anchorage, but what about all our homeowners in the Mat-Su Valley? This summer we haven't forgotten about you. Mat-Su is one of the most scenic places in the country and with nice summer weather, summer doesn’t get much
better than it does here! Here’s how you can entertain yourself in the Mat-Su Valley this summer:
Go to a Baseball Game – The Mat-Su Valley is home to the Mat-Su Miners baseball team, a collegiate summer team that plays in the Alaska baseball league during the
summers. The ballpark located on the Alaska State Fairgrounds has sweeping views of the Chugach Mountains, the most picturesque ballpark in the country!
Golf – You’ll notice that a theme in the Mat-Su Valley is that we could label everything as “one of the most picturesque ___ in the country.” Well, that is also true
for golf courses. The several golf courses situated in Mat-Su boast incredible views of rivers, mountains, and glaciers.
Watch a Race – The Alaska Raceway Park outside of Palmer hosts motorsport races every weekend. Not a motorsport enthusiast? Watch one anyways to see if you’ve changed
Run – The Mat-Su Valley has some of the most beautiful trail running that will help you prepare for the weekly 5K races held almost every weekend during the summer.
If you like running, you’ll always find a trail to use or a race to participate in!
