Midnight Sun Baseball Game

Alaska Goldpanner’s of Fairbanks
It is the 114th Midnight Sun Game, a Fairbanks tradition dating back to 1906 of playing baseball at midnight on summer solstice without the use of artificial light. The gates open at 8:00 PM and the first pitch are at 10:00 PM.
Anchorage Mayor’s Marathon and Half Marathon
Enjoy running the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, starting through towns and finishing with ocean views. This is a fast, challenging, and scenic race. If you are not running, it’s a great race to be a spectator at. After the race, check out all that Alaska
has to offer. With 22 hours of daylight in June, you will have plenty of time to see all of Alaska's greatest sights.
Midnight Sun Festival
Downtown Fairbanks will host the 38th Midnight Sun Festival celebration on Sunday, June 23rd, 2019 from noon-midnight. This annual event is held on the Sunday closest to the summer solstice and sees more than 30,000 people pack downtown for twelve
hours of fun under the midnight sun! The event has food trucks from across the state, endless amounts of Made in Alaska items, and planned activities such as a skate park, car smash, and pony rides. There are also over 40 live performances on the
four stages of the festival. Comedy, bands, aerial artists, and dancers. You will be entertained!
