First Friday: Bike Month Beer Garden

Location: The Bicycle Shop
Midnight Sun Brewing Company kicks off a month of bike events with a First Friday Bike Edition! Join us at The Bicycle Shop on Dimond for the musical stylings of local bicycle legend Orion Donicht, a beer garden from Midnight Sun and the big reveal of
the Midnight Sun Bicycles, hand painted by local tattoo artists Reed Leslie and Kevin Harden from The Hole Look. The bicycles will be up for grabs at contests throughout May, all proceeds from the beer garden go to Bike Anchorage
Music in the Mountains
Date: May 18, 2019
Times: 6 - 9 p.m.
Location: Eagle River Nature Center
Join Eagle River Nature Center for a great evening of music, food, beers, and ciders from local breweries. The event is open to patrons age 21 and older. Admission includes a commemorative tasting glass, choice of nine 4-oz beer/ cider/ soda tastings,
a bratwurst dinner, and the music of Alaska's own Midnight Sun Zombies and the All-Good Family Band.
Alaska Barefoot Mile
Date: May 11, 2019
Times: 1 - 4 p.m.
Location: Town Square
The Barefoot Mile is a 1-mile barefoot walk where participants stand behind the cause of human trafficking and walk in solidarity with those who are the most vulnerable to trafficking. The Barefoot Mile can remind us how effective our community can
be when we join for a common goal, which is the safety of innocent individuals. The funds raised will assist in the rescue, restoration, reintegration, and prevention of human trafficking in Alaska, the U.S. and internationally. Sign up for the event
Mother’s Day at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

Downtown Morning Activity Photo Boot Camp

Trent Waldron Half Marathon and 10K

Location: Westchester Lagoon
Tune up for a summer run with a half marathon or 10K. Both races start at Westchester Lagoon and follow the Chester Creek Trail on an out-and-back course. The Sleeping Lady Challenge is back. Run this race and at least two other Anchorage
