We’ve compiled a list of items to purchase or get completed before the start of the school year.
Physicals – If you child is participating in a sport at any point during the year, they will need to have physical examination to be able to play. Get this done and out of the way now
so you won’t have to worry about it for another year.
Haircuts – Do your kids like a fresh haircut before the school year starts? Call up and schedule their appointment so they can get a fresh new cut before the first day. Your kids will
feel confident and happy to have a new do – even if they don’t tell you that!
Get a “Homework” Area Ready – When school starts again so does homework. Have your kids prepare an area in your home that they can use as their work space. Let them set it up and organize
it as they want so they are ready to work when assignments start rolling in.
Go Through Clothes – Kids can grow an unbelievable amount over the course of a year. The clothes they wore last fall and winter may not fit them anymore, so there’s no point keeping them
in the closet. Have your kids try on all their fall and winter clothes and discard the ones that no longer fit in a giveaway pile. Take those clothes to a donation center.
Purchase Supplies – The most common “back to school” task we have for you – purchasing all schools supplies for the year. Getting it ahead of time and labeling notebooks and binders as
needed will save your kids time and stress the day before school starts!
