Fourth of July Bike Ride and BBQ
Join Alaska Dirt Divas, friends and family for a Fourth of July daytime trail ride and BBQ at Abbott Loop Community Park. This is a co-ed, family-friendly ride! We'll ride on a mix of wider gravel trails and single track in Far North Bicentennial Park
and Campbell Tract and then have a 4th of July B-B-Q at the picnic shelter. Bring food or drink to share. Don't forget your bear bells and water for the ride.
Join the Anchorage Celebration - "America, The Greatland" with over a thousand active participants and 25,000 attendees. The Anchorage July 4th Celebration has been described by our elected
officials as, "part of the fabric of Anchorage." The day starts with the traditional pancake breakfast, followed by the community and veteran’s parade, and doesn’t end until the stages are done at 6:00 pm. More than50 vendorswill feature various foods, information, and fun. Golden Wheel will provide a large variety of rides and there will be plenty of patriotic red, white and blue. The parade, festival attendance, and entertainment are all free. Naturally, everything is family friendly.
Host Your Own BBQ – What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than to invite your friends or family over for a good old-fashioned BBQ. Grill burgers, and hot dogs and play yard games in your backyard. Have each guest bring a different appetizer so you have a wide variety of delicious foods for the day.
Wishing you all a very fun a safe 4th of July!
