This weekend it’s time to celebrate all the father figures in your life. Not sure what to do for them? Here are a few ideas!

Plan a Camping Trip – If he enjoys the outdoors plan a camping trip this Father’s Day. Do all the planning and camping and let him tag along with no planning required. Don’t forget to bring fishing poles, hiking gear and more, so your activity options are endless! Packing and organizing can be the least fun part of camping, so taking that off his plate will allow him to truly enjoy the day.

Host a BBQ – Gather friends and family for a BBQ this Father’s Day. Who doesn’t love a get together with your most beloved? Grill some of your favorite foods, have the cooler stocked up and get out some of your favorite yard games. Organize friendly competitions between everyone attending.

Head to the Zoo – The Anchorage Zoo is giving all dads free admission this Father’s Day. Take advantage of it and head to the zoo! It’s safe to say people of all ages can enjoy the zoo so we think he will too!

Go on a bike ride
– Does he enjoy biking? Plan a day trip by bike to local restaurants and scenic destinations. Around Anchorage alone, there are hundreds of miles of trails perfect for biking. Bring your wallet and surprise him with destinations for food and drinks along the way!

Do all the yard work – Is he usually responsible for the yard work around the house? Get your family together and get it done so his weekend can be chore free! You will be giving him the gift of time to do what he wants!
